Actually went out to dinner last night .. man that was really nice. Had a good time and was good to eat food not delivered or we did not have to make
My pub (known to at least three more Maidenfans here) opened today for the first time in nine weeks. Outside tables only, and not all of them in order to keep the necessary distance between clients but it felt so good being there again. Some feeling of normality at last.

I'm no stranger to trying out new things food-wise. Therefore, today, I bought some "beetroot burgers" and prepared them with the same stuff that I would have with normal beef burgers. Onion, tomato, cheese.

I must say, it was a decent meal. However, they didn't have much in common with beef burgers in terms of taste or texture. So if that's the aim, there's work to be done.

If you carry on in this direction you might be able to make up for some of the damage you've caused the environment from working in the oil industry. :p

That's probably not the aim. It's probably to avoid eating any animal products.
Mission impossible.

Ey! I'm not working in it, and my company is heavily involved in the electrification of it!

You're a climate change enabler then. :nonono:

When I came to Oslo a few years ago I was randomly stopped in the Nothing to Declare corridor. The woman was asking me where I was staying and stuff. I said I was saying with Eddie's Wingman who is an engineer and works in the oil industry. Her reply was something along the lines of "most of them do".

Guilty as charged
