Yeah, but it's being avoided even if it could be narratively interesting.

Why do you have to be so negative? I don't get it. I never said it's a good or mature thing to not like sex scenes in movies.

You pointed out your young age for a reason, no? I interpreted it as virtue signalling and pointed out that there's no virtue there.
I pointed out my age because according to my own experience, people close to my age seem to be crazy about overly sexualized tv programs and sex scenes etc. It wasn't meant to sound like I'm proud of that or anything. I couldn't really care less about what others like.

I never understood how nudity can be seen as perverse. It is literally the most natural thing in the world. What's perverse is how we came to the point of considering it perverse.
To me, nudity has both artistic beauty and sexual perverseness to it. It's all how one views it or thinks about it. I think It's amazing that it can be some of both.

I was thinking about the time I freaked out my Life Skills teacher. She was talking about how our tastes reflect who we are, and how they can be used to judge our character, saying that people who enjoyed violent things had internal issues.
I, being a quiet, introverted nerd, had a problem with that statement. So I asked her if I could play a "short, enjoyable, critically acclaimed song".
You should have seen the look on her face when Head Crusher started playing.

When I tell them I listen to metal and they disagree with my taste:

Have any of you done similar things? Shocked or just annoyed people with your tastes in music?

Closest thing probably was when I was working as a freelance researcher for a company in museum education and after discussing connections between Biblical stories and Byzantine art, we went over to smalltalk. One guy asked me, since I'd said earlier that I would be out of town for a few days, where I'm going. My answer: "Brutal Assault festival". I looked at some irritated faces, but it was all in good humour.

From the hill of Tara see the Beltane fires
And the silent Celtic kings await
From the midnight hour to the light of dawn
Feel the mountain tremble and your heart will shake

Does anyone know the Scots Gàidhlig pronunciation of that word?

Bruce pronounces it exactly as it's written there in that anglicised form, whereas the actual pronunciation is https://www.teanglann.ie/en/fuaim/bealtaine .

However, the scottish historian on the BBC with the long hair pronounced it the same way as Bruce, so I'm wondering is Bruce using the Scots pronunciation.
