But where is the logic? The 3rd clue is 'All songs from the Powerslave album share a diagonal.' So I'm supposed to randomly guess Powerslave songs in a diagonal line away from Aces High? This is neither fun nor logical. Unless I am missing something.

It’s true that it forces you to guess in a few places and you can’t solve it with 100% deduction. But most of it can be deduced.

That clue about the Powerslave songs allows you to deduce an answer later on.

Square B3 says "All songs in Column 5 are over 10 minutes long". So the only space that shares the diagonal with Aces High and Column 5 must be more than 10 minutes long, so it's Rime.

In short - Scottish Gaelic pronunciation seems to be similar to the Munster example in @srfc's post except the second syllable should be something like "tin" with a slender n, like Spanish ñ . Someone more familiar the International Phonetic Alphabet like @Perun could hopefully say if it's so.

Yeah if I'm reading that phonetic alphabet stuff properly that would be the same conclusion I'd make, i'd guess an anglicized spelling would be something like "law byowltin".

So Beltane as pronounced by Bruce and Neil Oliver then would seem to be an anglicization, with Bruce presumably getting his pronunciation from Jethro Tull.

It does go wrong quite a bit. Mine sort of freezes after three or four correct answers. I also correctly guessed where Two Minutes to Midnight goes, but it was purely a guess.
