No, I just thought this was a receptive community that took its members opinions and points of view into consideration when making a decision. Which, apparently, isn't how all of this is going to turn out.Are we talking from a legal standpoint?
We do, and we are. We just aren't necessarily going to agree with your proposed solution. No, I just thought this was a receptive community that took its members opinions and points of view into consideration when making a decision.
No! More, more!I shall not partake from now on
Theresa is that you?I mean that’s exactly what we are doing by having this conversation openly. That doesn’t mean we have to abide by your suggestion.
You say it like I'm the only one taking the stance. I'm not alone here, there are others who agree with me and proposed the same solution. We do, and we are. We just aren't necessarily going to agree with your proposed solution.
And there are multiple people who think the other way!You say it like I'm the only one taking the stance. I'm not alone here, there are other who agree with me and proposed the same solution.
That must be because the mods are discussing that question elsewhere.About the meme spam, yes. But I haven't read many thoughts on the idea of reopening both threads.
Yes, and other members have chimed in privately. That must be because the mods are discussing that question elsewhere.
Thank you Stardust. It's important to distinguish proper humour to simple memes. Thing is, when you hear a really clever joke, one that truly hits home and makes you laugh, you'll remember it for a long, long time. Memes are funny...the first ten seconds you see them and then you move on. The issue is that there's just too many of them and most of them are iterations of the same formula and it becomes increasingly repetitive and annoying. They're good for just snickering lightly at before promptly forgetting them. Too bad a lot of memes are run into the ground until the point of them is lost.
I feel cluttering the Funny Pictures thread with memes upon memes was pretty irritating considering all the genuinely good jokes got lost in the shuffle.
That is virtually impossible to do.It's important to distinguish proper humour to simple memes.
We're not trying to do that. That is virtually impossible to do.
I say keep both threads closed and open that memmen thread Forostar was talking about
