The factory Floyd Rose was low quality and caused me all kinds of trouble. Since summer, I have played with my Ibanez but boy did I start to miss the Jackson for cleans and leads (active pickups ). It plays more comfortably in my hands than the longer scale length Ibanez. Oh, and there was one girl who thought I played bass because the guitar was black, one more reason to come back to the pretty white Jackson.

AFAIK Ibanez and AS Jackson are the same scale. Unless you have a baritone or a 7-string.

Yeah, I guess they are both 25.5. When I hold them next to each other, the Ibanez seems to have a tad longer neck but they look nearly the same. In terms of performance, Jackson has a slinkier feel while the other one usually feels too tight and strings don't sound very good high up on the fretboard.
