Hello from Edinburgh airport!

EasyJet are a heap of shit. My flight from London Luton was delayed by just over two hours due to their lack of organization and landed after the last train north had departed Edinburgh. EasyJet will refuse to pay for onward travel or overnight accomodation because as far as they're concerned they've fulfilled their contract and got me to my destination on the same day. This means I'm stranded overnight in the airport with no means of getting home until the first train at 5AM. At least Costa is open overnight.

Fucking shitty airline. I will avoid this piece of shit company like the plague from now on if at all possible.

Part of the delay leaving the airport was that there was a plane with some technical problems about to land. When it landed it was towed back to the stand and escorted by what our pilot described as the entire fire brigade. Apparently it was totally unnecessary though.

I repeat my earlier safety comment. Precautions are always best. If they were late because of baggage handling nonsense or a shortage of cabin crew, now that's something I'd complain about.

I'm stuck in the airport until 5AM then I go to the train station as fortunately there is a direct train at 5:34. I should be in bed by 7:30. Hopefully I'll wake up in time to watch the football.
