No. It's still the worst Iron Maiden song, and by a lot.
Let me @Black Wizard a little bit here:

Not based on the mass analysis of data.
Not sure I understand the need to bring this up. None of that matters when we're talking personal opinions and tastes. Plus, we all know "The Apparition" is usually considered the worst Maiden song ever, so there really was no need for that. In my own opinion, what you said about the song is still wrong.

I do agree with the TBOS sentiment. Is there any other old band still delivering such quality after all these years?

The thing about Rush is that it took them a good 15 years or so to get back to their usual standard of quality, and that ended up being their last album. Maiden was much more consistent and only had brief lulls in quality.

Uriah Heep, Helloween, Queensryche since Todd became the singer, Judas Priest, Megadeth, if Dio was still alive I'm sure he'd be putting out quality material, Neil Young. Just to name a few off the top of my head.

Oh, really? I hope you're right; they're a band I like a lot but haven't heard a great deal of apart from the first album and some of the popular songs. Would like to go through the discography at some point when I've got the time. I'll be coming for you if you're wrong, Travis! :p
Here's their newest song.

I just finished my yearly re-listen to the Iron Maiden discography, and man, what a band. The Book of Souls is way too good for a band of that vintage to create. Like, way too good. I found myself really enjoying and engaged by No Prayer For the Dying as well, which surprised me. Really got into the groove until about Bring Your Daughter, which reminds me of the strength of the band.

Surprisingly, the album I found to be most tedious during this listen was The X Factor. I remain a big defender of the album, but maybe it just didn't suit my overall attitude of the last few weeks. By comparison, I enjoyed Virtual XI quite a lot, especially the first half.
Will you now be joining me in the Virtual XI fan club?

I have often considered "Como Estais Amigos" to be one of Maiden's most perfect ever songs. Not the best necessarily, just that within its own scope every detail is perfect. An early example of Janick's true genius :).
