I always feel more open in a Paradox game than a Civ game. Never had a Civ game let me design my units down to the company.

You can rename units, but it is a bit finicky to understand.

My problem with Paradox games is that you're very much restricted to what history dictates to an extent. In Civ, you can really go nuts with the amount of customisation you want in a game, and the eras you can play in.

No. Flooding or knife point robbery?
Flooding. There's a video of a river running through the campsite.

By the way, I just remembered that my wellies are in my office and I totally forgot to get them when I was in work printing stuff off earlier. I'll have to pick them up tomorrow morning before I go to get picked up.

Take your own amp to a performance @Saapanael
Might also help. (Most amateurs I know play over their own ear anyway)

Would definitely help but carrying all the gear there and back for a 3-minute performance would be a pain in the back as I don't live close to my school. All in all, I'm sure it wasn't as bad as I made it out to be but it's interesting how drastically some seemingly small factors can influence a performance.

In HOI IV, you customize your divisions down to the company. In Crusader Kings II and EU IV, things are handled at a regiment level. Yes, you can rename them, but Civ is an even higher level, where you have "units" that really don't represent anything specific, it varies depending on the age and era. The Paradox games allow significantly greater control, I find, over a period of actual history, whereas Civ is a higher-level game that lets you actually build human history, and rarely relies on what actually happened.

They are definitely harder to learn, though. That's why HOI IV and EU IV have focused on streamlining game concepts. HOI IV I find has done a pretty good job - but it's still a few levels more complex than Civ V or IV.

Don't worry, I pre-ordered Civ VI based on the Sean Bean-voiced teaser trailer.

This is how to give Alpha Fuel Testo to other bosses. To beg the question, I am living proof of it. Today I may want to talk in relation to something I call Alpha Fuel Testo and even though, they know. When in doubt, consult Twitter. The only question is if Alpha Fuel Testo is right for you. This is a way to take note of getting into it.
Anny Penny, from NYC, says you & your boss need to GET INTO ALPHA FUEL TESTO!!!!!

Went out and bought this today. Wanted to try out the Music Man JP signature as well but they won't have it until autumn at least, sadly.
