I've used hybrid strings forever, basically meaning 10s on the 3 lower strings, 9s on the three higher strings, and I love them. Gives you a nice chunky bottom end and a lot of maneuverability and action on the high end.

I went from 9-42 to 9-46 to 10-46. I like the latter the most for the slightly improved tuning stability and fatter tone. Not a massive difference though, just down to preferences. I agree on the chunky low end.
 
I just got stuck in a public restroom (lock was broken) shouted for help to no avail. Then I climbed up using the pipes of the heating system, got on top of the box (there were two next to each other) then jumped out without injuring myself.

Now that was an experience.
