That might be a hint it is time for a new drive. You can try something like Recuva to see if you can save the 0KB files if they are not easily replaced

It's only a few months old though <_< Tbh I never use "safely remove usb" thing and I've been moving it around a lot these days, so it's possible that's what fucked it up. It's just movies and TV shows, so nothing too important, it's just very annoying since I had it all sorted properly <_<

It is still a mechanical device (unless it is solid state) and if the plates can get damaged .. especially if it is moved while still "spinning" ...I got a wi-fi external HD a while ago, it has the advantage of being able to network it so you do not really have to move it and (at least with the Seagate one and I am sure other brands as well), you can access the files over the internet if you are out of the house. Basically a personal "cloud"

Keith Emerson just passed away. :(

I Hate ELP but man that guy could really play the keyboards, sad news. R.I.P.

Happy Birthday, 'Arry!

On a shittier note, just rolled my ankle again and I was planning on fully participating in the dyeing of the Chicago River, parade, and amateur hour drinking shenanigans tomorrow.

So instead I'm drinking Jameson's and listening to Flogging Molly by myself.

For those of you not following the spoilers-allowed tour thread, Ed Force One has been damaged while being towed in Chile. Two engines and the undercarriage are damaged, two airport tug operators were injured and are in hospital. The band haven't cancelled any shows, but the plane is out of action, at least temporarily.

Saw it on FB. A bit later I saw a text-TV headline saying "Iron Maiden's plane crashed in Chile". I would have had a heart attack if I didn't already know what it was about.
