Will this be Buckethead's first public appearance since starting the Pikes series ?

It's astonishing how big of a distraction Youtube can be. I've gone from some random Estonian youtuber to episodes of Letterman and everything in between. All the while I should've been reading "Uncle Tom's Cabin".

Youtube pretty much takes up my entire day barring the usual stuff like dinner. It's a massive distraction indeed.

Not a bad deal, eh?

"Not only punk bands, but the few rock bands that were still doing the circuit at the time. I remember seeing Iron Maiden play a mid week gig at the [Norwich] Boogie House to an audience of 12 people."

Imagine that gig.

I believe so. I heard hes gonna do an under water drum solo too
No Mosh, he was still touring when the first Pikes were being released. I'm not sure, but I think some of them were being released as he was on tour. There's some fairly decent soundboard stuff on YouTube. He had released ten when he was still touring in 2012. He hasn't been seen on stage (or anywhere else) since New Year 2012; so just over three years ago. No idea what he's going to play or what format the whole tour will be. The one thing I really hope is that he's out with a drummer (hopefully Brain) & a bassist (Dan Monti/Del Rey Brewer; his long-term producer & collaborator); I don't think him playing with his iPod really does him justice. Having said all this, there's never anything official so it's kind of hard to know what to expect.

I've just swapped the strings on my Yamaha Pacifica for a very slightly heavier set and wow - it's like a completely different guitar. I can't wait to try it out properly tomorrow. It definitely doesn't sound cheap and tinny any more.

I've always used .009/extra light on that guitar, last changed probably about October/November. I've changed to .010 and never heard such a difference.
