Any Anthrax fans here? With the exception of the song Caught In a Mosh, I'm not familiar with their music, and since they are opening for Maiden here in South America, I would like to know more about them. Would anyone like to recommend me something? What album should I start?

Among The Living is probably their only great album, and by great, I mean it's absolutely outstanding. Still some other good stuff, but I'd start with Living for sure.

They've released a lot of so-so albums but if you listen to Among The Living, Persistence of Time and their latest Worship Music you're pretty well covered...Or get the compilation No Hit Wonders 1985-1991 and you've got all of the best from the classic Anthrax period.

Saying I'm a fan is a bit of an overstatement, but I'll concur with the previous posts and say that Among the Living is their classic album and the one you should check out first. Personally, I like Spreading the Disease better, though. But overall, they're a hit and miss, especially after Scott Ian went all ego thrash band führer.

Used to love Anthrax, far prefer the John Bush years because he's a vastly superior singer to Belladonna. I gave up when they rehired Joey. The last album had a few good songs, but I can only imagine how much better it would have been with a proper vocalist.

One of my goals in life was to engage in a mosh pit to Caught in a Mosh. After that happened in 2010, I kind of lost interest in the band.

Hard to motivate myself to do the dishes when I just started a Sabaton listening session.

Edit: Screw the dishes. Thunder is sounding, artillery pounding.
