I don't know why, but although I'm a lefty, I always use my right hand whenever strength is needed. I play the guitar right handed, shoot the basketball right handed, play table tennis right handed, throw stuff right handed and open bottles right handed. Everything else is left handed.

I've tried playing the guitar left handed, and whether it is due to simply not being familiar with it or not, I can't even properly fret it let alone begin to work around the inverted strings.

I can't think of much I do with my left hand instead of right, except for pull a pint of beer - always held the glass with my right and pulled with my left, opposite to everyone else I worked with.

My left hand is for dexterity, my right for strength. I write, throw darts, command a joystick with my left hand. I shoot pucks with my right hand primarily. I kick with my right foot when I'm playing footy.

I often try to get better at writing with my right hand. It isn't nearly as good as my left hand but it's very readable. Better than most people's main handwriting.

On 29th of April, the main opposition party gave a proposal to the parliament saying the coal mines in Soma, Manisa were in terrible condition and a research should be started immediately. The proposal found support from other opposition parties as well, but it was rejected by the parliament through votes by the government party. (Because the mines were made benefits to government-favored people) Today, on 14th of May, an explosion occurred in the same coal mine, the miners were stuck inside. 157 miners announced dead, 100+ miners announced to be in critical condition, around 500 miners are still said to be stuck inside.

As usual, the event has been described by the government members as "Unlucky". No resignation, no research for the accountable, not even an apology. This is basically a third world country disguised as a developing country.

This is a danger of all coal mines, but it is one that can be minimized by careful maintenance. The recent tragedies in Nova Scotia were smaller, of course, but the amount of deaths in the earlier times? A lot.

I hope answers are found.

This event came screaming from weeks earlier, and nothing was done to stop it. Sickening how little they care about the life of these people.

- The channel Beyaz TV is the channel of the government party.
- Şamil Tayyar is a MP from the government party.
- CHP is the main opposition party and the topic is their proposal regarding Soma coal mines.
- Şamil Tayyar's statement: "The opposition makes worthless, nitpicking research proposals in order to block the order of the day."

Our prime minister came out and said that "These events are regular events, they can happen, it has nothing to do with precautions." Then he gave examples from 100-200 years ago, like the technology we have is the same as they did. Pretty sure the majority of the country doesn't give a damn about the lack of precautions and this sick argumentation by the government. Occasional fires had been occurring in the last couple of months, and that led to the proposal for a research in late April.

I hate this fucking country.

That sounds terrible, Flash. I'm sorry you have to deal with such a cynical and cruel government.

God. Damn. It. I got a headache from the "Symphony of Construction" going on since 8am. Figured a shower would freshen me up and drown the noise. Just when I turned on the water, they start drilling in the bathroom above. Motherfuckers.
