I love your British optimism. So will the festival be half-dry or half-soaked? :P

'Sunny intervals' is the usual terminology, Black Wizard might be able to give a more technical description. But my glass will be half empty.

I find festivals are traditionally a mix of all weather just so no matter how prepared you are, you're screwed. Cloudy when you set off, roasting sun in morning until you get sunburnt, then torrential downpour until your fingers turn white and your jeans stick to you!

But all this is nothing....nothing...when compared to spending a weekend re-enacting and wearing itchy wool. Warm in the sun, sopping in the rain. :p

Tomorrow is the 3rd Annual Day of Dio Remembrance and Celebration, how are you celebrating?

This is my playlist

Holy crap, most of the country is flooded at some degree. Nationwide flood emergency was declared today. Rain stopped few minutes ago but is expected to start again tonight and last for 2 more days :|

Luckily I live in a part of Belgrade that never ever gets flooded, but this is still terrible.

I take it you do not enjoy rain like you do snow.

I've been to the UK a number of times now and I think I've actually have had more sunny days there than rainy ones ... I even had a three-day trip to Manchester once without a single drop of rain!

In other news, I just read that Yusuf Yerkel, a central member of Turkish PM Erdogan's staff has admitted to kicking a protester. Yes, kicking him. It baffles me that this guy isn't already kicked out of his office. When disaster strikes your country, your job as a government official is to show compassion and support for the victims. Not to kick them or insult them..

Wankers.

But how come? Wouldn't even an arrogant guy like Erdogan fear that he would lose support with this behaviour from himself, or accepting such behaviour from his staff? Is the support for him among the majority that firm?

Erdoğan himself punched a protestor in Soma yesterday. :D

Is the support for him among the majority that firm?

You have no idea. It's beyond comprehension of any sane person. They protect Erdoğan in whatever he does, whatever he says. They call anyone with opposition a traitor, they call any event that is blatantly negative a conspiracy, they get proud when international public condemns Erdoğan's actions because they feel like it's a sign that they're annoyed with Erdoğan's "true world leadership".
