Steve Morse is one of my all time favorite guitarists. Although I find it a bit odd that he's in Deep Purple now, I haven't checked out any of their new stuff but Morse's style is a lot different than Blackmore's. I would've guessed that they'd go with someone more similar to him.

Paice is still there, good to hear.
I prefer the whisky-soaked mid-80s Gillen to the clearer 1972 version, but I haven't really listened to any of their stuff since then.
Listened to Smoke on the Water (made in Japan) for the first time in years the other day.
After dismissing it for a long time as tired and overplayed, I was amazed by how good it sounded.

Steve Morse kicked ass. He has his own style that's different from Blackmore's, which is fine by me. Him and Airey stole the show. Both had brilliant solo sections and added more solos to some songs.

New album is a grower, the songs from it that they played tonight are really good.
Apres Vous is awesome too, but I can't find a single studio version of it on YouTube O.o

Well I'm pretty pleased with myself. I just bought The Chemical Wedding special editon with the bonus tracks on ebay for 8$ :D

Jesus. Russians outshooting the Finns 35-19. This game is all Tuukka Rask, who is easily one of the best goalies in the world today.

Ovie? Mr. Putin would like to speak to you in his office.
Make sure you hug the wife and kids first.
