Since we're talking about the Winter Olympics here, I doubt they were ever in it ;) The reason why I mentioned Germany is that Munich has been mentioned as one of the more likely candidates to host the event.

Ah, I guess they are out of all of them ... when they announced Tokyo 2020 my wife and I talked about trying to go to it or some future ones. I went to a few events during the 1984 Olympics and they were cool.

I should clarify 84 Summer Olympics ... I like that the Summer and Winter Olympics are not on the same year anymore.

Well, hopefully you figure it out LC.

In other news, Norway is going to get a new government. The coalition consisting of the Labour Party, the Socialist Left and the Centre Party (agrarian) have lost their majority in Parliament, and the Prime Minister has made official that he will resign later this autumn, when the annual state budget is due. The other four parties in the Parliament (the Conservative Party being the larger of the four) will now negotiate to see if they can form a majority coalition together.

Not too cold, so it probably won't last long. But it was raining and haling all afternoon and then all of a sudden it just started snowing.Think it stopped now.

Actually it really was, turns out it wasn't snow. Just hail. Looked an awful lot like snow from my window. :(

Still, I'm excited to finally be getting some autumn weather! :D
