I haven't played that.

I cut my teeth on the COD series, which is fun. I'm into Battlefield 3 right now, and I love it. I miss some of the smaller maps on COD now and then, but BF3 added some smaller ones recently.

I think I have 2 or 3 as a pc game, but haven't played it in forever.

I had 4-6, then black ops I. My son had MWIII and black ops II. I played MWIII as a campaign, but I don't think ever online.

I think 5 was one of my favorites. I like playing WWII games.

Did you know that my username doesn't come from comics, Flash of the Blade, or the word itself but the nickname of my favorite basketball player, Dwyane Wade?

It was Shaquille O'Neal who gave him the nickname "Flash" so it kind of fell off in usage since Shaq's departure. But still is considered a nickname and used.

Don't care for the very modern ones, Counter-Strike 1.6 (Half-Life too, naturally) is the only FPS I'm interested in. Many people fail to see the physics and "hidden aspects" of the game that make it stand out among others.
You mean, you know Dust 2.0 so awesome you can kill people through walls where the programmers fucked up. Well done.

There are threats of another Korean War. There has been a terrorist attack in Boston. There has been a major earthquake in Iran. Still the newspapers and TV stations in Norway find space and time to spend on the fact that Justin fuckin B**ber has a show in Oslo today.

I'm just happy I live on the other side of the city so that I don't have to be in the vicinity.

I just figured that you really loved the Queen album.

Indirectly, it does. I believe Shaq nicknamed Wade "Flash" after the comic book character, because of Wade's speed. As I'm sure you know, Shaq is a big comic book fan who famously and repeatedly likened himself to Superman.

But never ever let him be a superhero

Yeah, I know but still. I used the same nickname on a basketball forum and stayed with it here.

You mean wallbanging? I'm pretty sure that's meant to be. And it's not like wallbanging can only be done in CS.
Wallbanging isn't a feature, it's a glitch. I played a lot of FPS from that era and CS was famous for it. Nowadays when you can shoot through a wall it's a bad thing, unless the wall is destroyable.

The intense knowledge of the core two CS maps and where cheat shots can occur is one of the reasons CS is a very introspective game. It has a massive learning curve (this coming from a guy who played Tribes competitively) that pisses most gamers off. It'll never go away because people who are good at CS 1.6 only ever want to play Dust 2.0 on CS 1.6, because they know where the exploits are. Did you play Source when it came out? People were livid because it wasn't full of spots you could shoot through the corners of walls and crap.

I always hated that on the COD games. The 'spawn and shoot at that pixel' deal and I die. Or when I'm in a room with brick walls, but the game shows my foot outside the wall, and they kill me by putting bullets in my foot.
