Well, the husband and I's wedding anniversary is tomorrow so we're going to Cleveland, Ohio for 2 days. He wants to take me to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum and we'll check out other things while we're there. :)

All the little chicks, with their crimson lips, say 'Cleveland Rocks!'

I can see it now, I'll spend the entire evening sorting paper.
Need help?

I believe it is lunch time. I am thinking I want a slice of pizza.... I wish there was pizza slice drive through :)

Ouch. A rather graphic thing is going on on my TV right now. A surgical procedure in which several internal organs (including the liver) are physically removed from the patient's body, then a tumor removed from a large blood vessel in the abdominal cavity, before the organs are put back inside the body. Looks bloody complicated (pun most definitely intended)

Edit: Shit, there was actually tumor tissue in the actual organs as well.

Yes, one of my cases involved medical devices, and some of them are fairly amazing and, in a way, gruesome. As one of the more mild examples, guess what this is for (don't cheat by going to the URL):

Hmm. I woul guess that at some point, one would tighten those nooses around something. For example, around haemorrhoids, or to isolate a bleed. Or perhaps to cut off blood supply to something that is to be removed, like the tonsils? I go with the latter. Remove tonsils.

Good guess, you have the right idea, but the wrong application. It is inserted into a major artery and the snares are used to grab and remove foreign objects in the artery. This, of course, begs the question: how did a foreign object get into an artery??!!
