I'd be curious to know the difference between Beatles singles and the quantity of sales of the rest of the 'top ten' of the day. It seems to me that the Beatles were out-of-control-crazy when it came to their popularity (compared to all other bands of the time).

Wow. Last time I checked, I have my own mind and I can think and judge for myself... I hate it when people assume that I follow my husbands ideals just because I'm married to him. I just had someone, who was friends with my husband but isn't anymore, ask me if I'm still friends with him on Facebook just so my husband can keep tabs on him? That offended me and I basically said no, I do not have any issues with him and any problems between him and my husband are just that, between them and I'm not apart of it.

Just he or the whole rest of the world? Not that I read all media but the BBC also sticks to: "Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov said the attacker tried to fire two shots but "most likely the gun misfired".

Actually, if it was an hoax then how do we explain the surprise on the attacker's face?

Everyone else, of course. I don't have any proof but that seems very likely to me. As for his surprise, he may have not been part of it. He was supposed to announce he was stepping down during his speech, and the man who is expected to occupy the position of a party leader is known to be very resourceful. Right after the attack, he gave a very inspired speech speaking of human rights, safety and democracy. I have three main reasons to suspect it was a hoax.
1. This was a party conference. Typically it's the state security who take care of events like this. This time, the party sent a letter prior to the conference to the authority stating that a private security company will take care this time.
2. Apart from his gun, the attacker also had two knives on him -- this is hard to miss by any security.
3. You plan an assassination with a gas pistol? These guns are very rarely lethal, why take such a risk?

I hate those people. Did he provide any evidence, let alone proof?
Of course not. How could he? But this didn't stop him from claiming that Mary Magdalene came from a village near Sofia. :D

Cheers for explaining. We'll see what comes out of it!

Sounds like that guy has a paranoia complex! If you remember one piece of wisdom, everything else makes sense: people are stupid. Typically, this is true. When you put 'emotional stress' on a person, this truth increases a hundred fold. That guy clearly is not happy with your husband over whatever happened and he is saying some stupid shit.

If that guy really thought that, he could have just unfriended you, but he wanted to say something to you about it instead, just to make a reaction, or to get you to tell your husband about it so your husband could get all wound up.

In other news, Sunday morning. I'm about 20 minutes away from my first pot of coffee!

I fucking hate it when people don't keep their promises about meeting, being on time etc.

This just happened to me too today. I'm supposed to go pick something up of mine at a friends house and we already had it planned last Sunday that we could do it today and I called him yesterday about what time would be best, he said he wasn't sure but he would find out. I hear nothing from him, I text him, nothing. I call him today and he goes "Oh didn't you get my message" turns out today wasn't such a good day after all....

Well, there had been some further development with that since I posted last. The friend apologized and didn't want to offend me but said that he asked because he had heard about it from someone else and wanted to know for himself since he thought I wasn't that type of person. I asked him who told him and of course he wouldn't say though I do have my suspicions on who. He also didn't want to say if it was one or more people because his response to that was 'no comment'. So basically I've got people who want to talk about me behind my back.

This quickly made me come to the conclusion that yes, people are stupid. Also, that's exactly why I didn't tell my husband about it because I knew he would get wound up. I'm dealing with this on my own. I can fight my own battles.

Thanks for your wise words, Wasted.

But that sounds as if people out there are awful and it's just here that they are cool. And that's not the case. I barely know people who suck in real life.

Well, that's the thing, not all people suck. So, you hafta try to figure out which ones do. That's what makes life entertaining!! Honestly, I like to assume that each person I meet isn't stupid and doesn't suck. I have a high tolerance, so I'll let someone prove me wrong quite a few times before I put them in the stupid sucky column. :)
