Mixing/remixing drums and songs that have been recorded (and mixed a couple of times) over a course of two years is a pain in the ass. Especially when you have used vastly different overhead techniques and placement for the drums on different songs. The song I'm reworking now is starting to sound like the rest now though. My album's going to be released before the summer on iTunes and spotify and stuff.

It did help to active a couple of the drum busses though. I discovered that they were inactive after like two hours. At least.

Speaking of AC/DC. While I was doing weight exercises after work yesterday, AC/DC's Highway to Hell was played on the radio just as I was doing the heaviest set in bench press :D How fitting.

Every time I turn on the radio when I'm in my car, there's AC/DC on. And I can't stand AC/DC.

I might have something planned, no sure. It's just been a long week and want my weekend. :)

At the end of each Friday shift...

Eh and bleh. All songs sound the same.
My husband's a huge AC/DC fan and he thinks the same about Maiden.
