I wonder if the concept of the Freudian typo has ever been investigated.

Today I had English classes scheduled for 18:40. I was really tired so I decided to take a short nap at about 17:00 to rest for the class. Woke up at 22:30:eek:

I saw that too right after it was posted. I was too speechless to react. ;)

And I was in the middle of reading Plato when I saw that.

In other news, I just made myself a nice salad and tossed some croutons on it. The box had a picture of a bunch of croutons being tossed in the air and a bit of green salad somewhere down in the corner... with the inevitable "serving suggestion" disclaimer on the side. I don't know if they expect me to bombard my guests with croutons, but that is far from being the weirdest "serving suggestion" I've ever seen. Once, I found a pack of tuna filet which had a picture of a tuna fish swimming in the sea on it... and saying "serving suggestion" next to it.

This weekend, I'm having the girls watch The Mummy.

I must have been 13 or 14 when it came out. It had everything I could wish for at that age: A great setting, a cool hero, that hot Egyptian gal at the beginning, it was funny, even scary at times (the first appearance of Imhotep or the scene where he walked through the city streets with his slaves), and completely over-the-top in all aspects. In short, all-round great entertainment. I didn't like the sequel very much, although the scenes set in ancient Egypt were cool and I thought that carrying the story into central Africa was a great idea too. Not to mention that every film becomes better when it's set in imperial London. But it had that fucking kid in it. But for some reason, I thought that the first Scorpion King film was a lot of fun, even though it's an all-out rip-off of Conan.
