A long overdue break day from work - paid or otherwise.
Sitting on the deck with an icy Sleeman's cream ale, Rush on the speakers and unseasonably warm October sunshine beaming down.
Life is good.

Thy talk of weather amuses Me, o denizens of inferior climes. No sense wondering what the weather will be like in LA this week -- sunny and beautiful, as usual. If I want to see snow, I get in my car and drive a couple of hours to the mountains. If it's a bit too hot in the summer, I hop in the car and drive an hour or so to Santa Barbara. To quote the great Winston Wolf: "Move out of the sticks gentlemen."

>Why would you live anywhere else.<

Last year in our area, we hardly had a Winter. It only snowed once, the biggest snow we had all year in the oddest month: October! Very weird. My love of snow has decreased over the years. Loved it as a kid and now I hate it....well actually, I only hate when its a day I have to drive in it. Otherwise, I'm fine with it :D. If I could control weather, I'd have it stay like Fall or Spring. Not too hot yet not too cold.

I'm sooo excited! I just found out that a Bulgarian band, Project Arcadia, in which a friend of mine plays the guitar, is going to open for Accept in Sofia on 20 October. :notworthy:

Here's a video, in case anyone wants to check them out:

yes, but that is far too serious for me to make fun of!

Though... do you miss thunder storms? I hear you don't see that much there...?
