Sucks royally to lose friendships, especially long term, and ESPECIALLY over misunderstanding's and/or reactions that don't quite fit the events.

Wish I could offer something helpful to say but my success in those situations is so far rather one sided.

So sad to hear that Foro. I've lost my best friend for three years at the beginning of the high school due to his honourless (ending our friendship due to a misunderstanding and talking coarsely about the girl I liked (yes, it's the same girl)) actions against me. And he came out smelling like a rose, too.

It's mid September and the weather it very much like mid July here. :censored: It gave me a horrible headache so I had to play hookie in the midday break.

One day to go ! :p

Foro, I could of course tell you something like, "if that's what it takes for him to end a friendship, he wasn't a very valuable friend to begin with". But I don't believe that is always true, and it's easy talk. I know what a friendship can mean, and I also know that even in the best and closest friendships, there is misunderstanding and uneven evaluation of its importance and meaning. Perhaps the two of you have mutual friends you can talk to about this matter, and maybe they can tell you how to deal with it. From my side, I can only tell you that I'm sorry to hear that, and I can only imagine how you feel about it.

It was just fine. "Misunderstanding's and/or reactions that don't quite fit the events" is what happened, I think. Also Perun's "misunderstanding and uneven evaluation" sounds to the point.

Only Flash, not sure what you mean with "came out smelling like a rose"? :)

I meant that he acted like he was the right one in this situation. The Turkish idiom for this is literally translated as : Staying ahead of water like olive oil, I used a translation source like every time I do when I'm going to use an idiom. Came out smelling like a rose was the one that came out.

Ladies and gentlemen.... It's time for a Queen marathon in the Wasted household. I have one vision, and that is to race my bicycle with fat bottom girls because i want it all. Meh, who wants to live forever.

I think the term that i recall is 'stepped in shit and came out smelling like a rose' -- a situation where someone should look like a turd and looks like the hero instead. Is that what you were meaning, Flash?

Man, haven't posted here in awhile. So what's up? I've been busy with marching band and all.

Oh by the way there is some studio gibberish at the of the Unbeliever I realized.

I dunno what's going on.

I know I'm wanting a cold beer and I have none. And I don't want to go to the store. Meh.

My daughter is getting through her heartbreak and my shower renovation is nearing the end.
Life is good.
But it would be better with a Sam Adams,
