It's starting to look like a daily update kind of thing but here it goes :

I didn't do it today, never had the chance. But the most important thing is that it's now official that we're in the same class with her at the training center also. In fact she was placed 2nd in the class-assignation test and I was placed 3rd.

I'll see her all seven days of the week, I sit in front of her in the school class and I probably will sit next to her at the training center. Fuck yeah.

By the way even though I'm into heavy excercising for about 4 months or so, the football match we had with my classmates yesterday was exhausting. Though it's mainly because I'm a hard-working, fast running, stopper defender. I'm dealing with amazing pains right now, worth it though, we won 14-4 :p

Wasted: I don't know what to tell you. I'm so disgusted by the whole thing. At the same time, though, I can't stop watching the NHL. Which makes me guilty of supporting the owners afterwards. I don't think this lockout will help them, though. The last one was sold as time to make the game better. They did. I don't see it happening this time. I hope the lockout ends quickly.

I'm with you. Honestly, I said I was done, but I'll probably still watch. I love the game, and the game is best when the talent is best... and that's the NHL. I really hope they come to their senses soon, though. The NHL was on its way (IMO) to being the number 2 sport in the US (behind football, ahead of baseball and basketball) and that lockout killed it. You used to be able to find games easily and it (seems to me) is much harder to find games now. I really hope this is over very quickly and the season goes on as planned. If they don't get a season in at all.... I'm worried if it will be able to come back from that.

@Cornfed, Haha! I love Caddyshack! ....and how appropriate... @Flash: remember what Nike says, "Just do it!"

I am very much emotionally invested in NHL hockey. I am refusing to become emotionally invested in the lockout.
Call me when it's over and I'll be back. In the meantime I'll continue to act like it's just the off-season.

Gonna watch some boxing tonight. Women's boxing (!) Norwegian pro Cecilia Brækhus holds three titles and is putting them all at stake against Anne Sophie Mathis from France. The match is part of the "Nordic Fight Night" in Frederikshavn, Denmark.

Marianne Vos wins the World Championship cycling aka the Women's road race!
After 5 silver medals in a row, finally gold again!

And Cecilia Brækhus has defended the titles! A really hard-fought match saw her have control in the last four rounds.

And I'm happy that I don't have to go ten rounds against either of the two ...

So, I'm no longer an 'air show virgin'. I won some tickets at work and got to take my girls; it was super cool!! We got to see some stunt races, a B-17, a p51, and a bunch of others (I don't know all the names/numbers). Some guy had a glider that he outfitted with a jet engine, and tha as awesome! On top of it all, the tickets I won were for the 'vip' tent, so we got free drinks (including beer for me) and food. So very fun!
