I love coffee!  I was surprised to see Dunkin Donuts coffee beans are more expensive than Starbucks... Crazy.

Dunkin Donuts is reputed to have the best "chain store" coffee.  I'm not a coffee drinker, but that's what I've consistently heard.  So, demand must be driving up price.  Dunkin Donuts just had a very successful IPO, too.

Yes, you are correct all the way around.  It is funny, because about 4 months ago, I was shopping my food store, and Starbucks was priced the same as Dunkin, or maybe a little higher.  Then, last week, when I was shopping, Dunkin was about $1.50 higher.  Which I found funny-- but it must be due to the increased demand.  It is slightly tastier than the Starbucks I had been brewing.

The topic is chemical engineering. The title of the thesis is "Identifying active constraint regions for optimal operation of process plants - with application to LNG and distillation processes".

It will total about 140 pages, meaning I've managed to keep it so short that there's a hope that someone will actually read it.

Tomorrow I'm not gonna work much on it. I have to buy some stuff for the Tanzania trip. But half of Sunday, the whole Monday and some of Tuesday should be sufficient for the remaining work. Then I'll send the finished thesis to my professor, who will forward it to the evaluation committee (three people. One from a foreign university, one from industry and one from our own university). Then in six weeks, I get comments back from the committee. I have two weeks to do any changes that are deemed necessary, and then four more weeks before the public defense in November.

But once I have submitted the thesis on Tuesday, I'll have one month off. That's going to be gross.
