To put it in comparison, it's like John Boehner losing his seat in Ohio, or Labour knocking out George Osborne.
Not sure what the rest of the situation is like - but in the 1992 election that John Major's Tories won, Chris Patten (then the Tory party Chairman) gave up a lot of his time to make sure the Tories won. And in doing so, he was ousted out of his seat. Possibly the biggest Tory to loose their safest of seats. The constituency he was in is now a safe Lib Dem seat.

It's fairly similar, though the riding may not become a safe riding any time soon.
UNBELIEVABLY bored.

A quarter of the course is behind me. Today was the second of the 5 big tests, I think I did very well. So far, minus this test and the one before it, my average is a 90. I'm feeling fantastic.

Some testing systems use strange numbers. They add them up and if they come out to 140, you're graded out of 140.

Yeah, that makes sense. My A+ exam had a max of 900, passing was 700, and you got 100pts just for putting your name on the exam.

lol. I gotta write that soon.

Everything is down here, but there's nothing we can do. Our site tunnels into the client's VPN from another site, and that other site is completely down. That site is also where the company hosts their internal websites, including mail. So quite literally everything is fucked.

But Internet browsing still works, it seems  :D

Absolutely. The problem is with our VPN into the client's network, and the servers. The other site is out, but our local internet connection comes through a FIOS connection here. It's just the data connection with the client that's out.

Since we use VOIP, no phones ring here today!

The only thing I can't access is the stuff I'd need to do my job. How terrible. I guess I have to sit here and play flash games...
