Well, AMOLAD is a studio album so people are probably praising the actual songs in that case. If the songs are good enough, the production may not matter. I guess live/dead gets bashed because it's a live album and since they're songs everyone's already heard, they want a good live production. Actually, I don't mind the production of it because it has Prowler, Where Eagles Dare, and Transylvania.

Yep.  Several months ago was a new one for the Mrs.  I originally said that I'll get a new desktop before a laptop, as I have a nice monitor that's barely been touched when my motherboard fried (due to static and dusty conditions in our old apartment).  Now, I don't think I would even use a desktop.  Perhaps in February, on my birthday, I could have a new laptop.  Depends if this one keeps giving me more troubles.
 
A friend of mine just picked up a Compaq for $350, 15", 320 gb, 3gb ddr4, Radeon HD 4250, 2.1 ghz Athlon II dual core. Not bad.
 
Sweet!  My brother just emailed me that Civ V is "fun".  I'm waiting to see when I can come over so he can tell me why (presumably) my laptop cannot play the game and therefore I need a new one. ;)
 
Allow me to tell you the same. Civ V is pretty damn good. Except here I am trying to troubleshoot multiplayer issues for people who know dick about computers.
