Thanks. I'm not too big on Testament's setlist. Too much newer stuff. I wish they were continuing to do The Legacy. I'm mainly going to see Megadeth and SLAYYYY FUCKING ERRRRR!!! though.

Speaking of that, I was at the museum today to grant myself a little bit of culture, and went by a painting that was called The Dragon Slayer (the signs were bilingual), and literally the first thing I thought was "Hey, wasn't that Slayer's original name?"
 
That was their original name, until they changed it simply to "Slayer" very early in their career.
 
Slayer, Megadeth and Testament on the same bill. I saw that one back in 1990 with Suicidal Tendencies (Clash of Titans). It was that gig that put me off Megadeth for years but hammered into me how good Slayer are.

It should have been the best concert ever, four bands I really rate highly, but Mustaine's ego was just too much to bear.
 
I'm glad they changed it. Dragon Slayer is a bit cheesy.

I thought Clash Of The Titans had either Alice In Chains or Faith No More opening. Maybe ST was on part of it?
 
I saw Clash of the Titans in the UK (Wembley, London to be precise). What they had in the US may well have been different.

@Albie: Back then, weren't you aware that Mustaine was a complete ass before you went to the show? I mean, since it put you off Megadeth?

No, Mustaine was second (or third) on my heroes list at the time - behind 'Arry (or Hetfield). I could see him do no wrong. Seriously.
