So, I have few ambitions for tonight.  Wash dishes, check.  Buy ice and vodka, check.  Fire up the xbox, check.  Drink heavily, queued.

Sounds good.  Currently watching chick flick with the missus.  Well, more like listening and glancing.  Plan: go out for some Dairy Queen blizzard later.  Tomorrow: low stakes poker with buddies.  The plan was to put up a shed, but my wrist is killing me after moving that sonofabitch up a few flights of stairs.  200 lbs.!!!  You'd think I'd be smart enough to take it apart and move it piece by piece.

OOps, yeah, I missed that.

And GK is right, its 155.  A while back, we were playing at changing up names for the hell of it, I was always 'Wasted 155" and Loosey had addressed me as "Wasted CLV" once, and I liked it.

155 is the number of my fav motorcycle racer, Ben Bostrom.

The avatar is great.  As soon as I saw it, I had to have it.  Dante???

It seemed to me like Dante & Beatrice -although they never kissed, just now I saw the balance, which make it more the status of Liberty kissing the Justice  ;)

@Travis : yes Wasted is fool for bikes go to his blog and check the photos, you'll understand what I mean.

@Wasted : Man, I thought of you the other day. My brake pads went completely melted so I had this metal to metal effect.
I arrived in this point cause I was saving stupidly money for furniture and stuff for my new apartment.
...
I bought new front disks, and foul set of pads from the Ford dealer & machined the back disks. But some pins of the caliper brackets in the back breaks
got completely stuck probably due to high temperature of the metal to metal contact. So the technician broke one in his effort to get it unstuck.
Plus while I was in the work shop I lost from my pocket a considerable amount of money, more than a salary for some people here.
So I ordered a full set of back brakes and the total cost of the repair -including the loss- will be about 500% of what it would be if I had change
the break pads in time...

I'm back! It was awesome.
And now I'm gonna leave till TFF arrives, hopefully tomorrow or the day after that.
Bye!

Would someone more knowledgeable explain what it means when you can download a 64-bit program instead of the regular one?  I've understood that only Windows 7 runs the 64-bit version, but what is the difference?

Sure. Basically, older computers are 32 bits, which means the maximum size of memory units is 2[sup]32[/sup] bits large. A 64 bit system is 2[sup]64[/sup] bits large. Because of the way computers work, it basically means a 64 bit system can have a FUCKlot more memory.

Every bit of information is stored on your computer as a series of 1's and 0's. If you have a 32bit OS, each bit is stored as 01010101010101010101010101010101, for example. That could be a colour so if 0000000000000000000000000000001 is white and 11111111111111111111111111111111 is black all the rest of the colours will be in-between.

If you have a 64-bit system, each bit will be twice as long and as such a shed load more different colour variations. Or as LC said, 2[sup]64[/sup] colours as oppose to 2[sup]32[/sup] colours.

32 bit computers can only handle so much memory at a time, too, because they are limited to how much can be processed. For instance, you could have 10 GB of RAM on a 32 bit system and it will only ever read 4 GB. On a 64 bit system...well, the theoretical cap is somewhere in the petabytes iirc.

17,179,869,184.00 GB, if my calculations are correct.

Whatever that is in petebytes. :D

Which, I think in technical terms, is equal to ' a FUCKton'.

@5, yeah, working on brakes is a real drag.  Now, the car I have now, I put new rotors on it last fall, but they have warped again.  So, I think its because the calipers are hanging up somewhere-- I checked one of the pins and it is a little rusted.  Looks like I have to get some new calipers to fix this.  The cool part?  Calipers $40 per side.  Rotors, free, because they are still under warranty.  A couple hours in my driveway and I 'should' be back to new.

Yup the pins are important. I changed the full set of back calipers, today. Not that expensive, about 500$ both.
I 'could' wait 3 weeks to get them 100$ from Michigan (or Detroit ?? -made in Mexico) but fuck, I won't drive with a broken pin 3 weeks.

At the point I was, I said what the fuck so I ordered 4 new choc absorbers about 200$ all. Very good price, in Europe it would be more than the double.
Add the foul set of filters, tyres, spark plugs & antifreeze my Mustang is full serviced for some time.

There one last thing I need /like to do for her : change rims  :D

*I really love that car!

When I stand before you shinning
In the early morning sun
When I feel the engines roar
And I think of what I've done

Gonna buy a new HDTV, viewing distance 6.5616 feet.
What size should I go for? Also, between Philips, Sony, LG and Toshiba, which is the best?

Ok, first off, I dunno where you choose to buy (I don't know if walmart is available), but DON'T buy at walmart!

Second, I prefer Toshiba or Samsung, or even LG.  Sony is fine, but I'm not a big fan, of theirs (mostly to do with the way they do business, rather than quality).  I'd say that at 6-7 feet, You could go from 32" to 52".  I'd try to land in the middle, if possible, around 42"-- and there are a lot of good choices in the 42" inch range.

Kinda decided on 32 already.
I'm looking at a couple of screens: one from LG, one from Sony.
Same price, LG is full HD, and can play MKV from the USB port.
Sony is HD ready, may or may not have 3D.

I'm going to buy the TV sometime next week, I'll see them in person and decide.
