Speaking of Mustangs:

North American P-51 Mustang, the Cadillac of the Skies! 6 Browning M2 .50 caliber machine guns in wing mounts, powered by the Packard-V 1650 Merlin clone.

A conversation I had today with a friend:

Me: A horse walks into a bar, and the barkeeper goes: "Why such a long face?" and the horse goes: "I've got cancer".
Her: I don't get it.
Me: Uh, it's the oldest joke in the world, spiced up a little.
Her: No, I really don't get it. I mean, a horse always has a long face.
Me: That's the joke. It's a play on the ambiguity of having a long face.
Her: Oh, because it's sad?!
Me: Yeah.
Her: Now I get it!

This one being of the "D" model (the one produced in largest numbers), and painted with the markings of the 1944 invasion force (black and white stripes).

I'd love to fly one of those one day. There are still many that are maintained flyable  :D

Sorry, can you be more specific?

:P

Another beauty here, the Spitfire mk V. This one is a Vb, with 2 Hispano 20 mm cannons and four Browning .303 machine guns. The Mk V was the most numerous Spitfire version.
