No, I didn't say that. He signed the papers and knew what could happen. I'm just saying that it's an extremely *painful* injury but the way it was inflicted, not particularly lethal.

I feel no pity for the Matador either. Yes he knew the risks - but the bull didn't sign up to this. I can't comprehend how they can get some wild animal so agitated just for a show.

@Mega: If you think about the route through his jaw the horn took, there's no bone or major artery. But as LC said, if the horn went the other way, or was a few inches closer to his throat - he's toast. And I assume the horn came straight out afterwards, but if it got lodged and the bull was to shake his head about - again, he would of not of survived that.

My point exactly. In my opinion, gladiator fights would be more humane than this.

OK, wtf. I'm going through my mp3 collection, making a CD. I go to add one of my favourite Halford songs - "Silent Screams" - and it says the file can't be found. The rest of the album is fucking there. Christ.

Using itunes?  I was reading something about 'foobar' being a better replacement for itunes and it will still manage the ipod.

I would never use any program named foobar. First, it's a sound-alike for FUBAR. Which is not a description that I want fitting any of my software.

Second - and maybe this isn't common knowledge to non-programmers - it's just about the laziest name you can give a program. "Foo", "bar" and "foobar" are the most common dummy variable names used when building up a program. They're so common, it's considered 'canonical' among programmers to use them.

To a programmer, the word "foobar" shouts out loud: "I was too fucking lazy to give this a real name". It's like if Ford designed a new car, and then called the model "Car".

Haha! That is awesome; I had no idea!
Wait... Didn't Pontiac make an auto called 'Le Car'?
Ooops- it was AMC.

An AMC? I still do.

iTunes isn't so bad for what I do. I should reimport my library soon anyway. I have tons of little bits of files floating about cyberspace that need to be cleaned up. And I am sure I have some unlabelled songs that I don't know what the fuck they are.

How evil would it be if I changed my avatar to t_s' face? :nana: O0 :nana:

Y'know, way back '03, back when we were trying to get just 700 replies to this post, there was a tradition of excessive gratuitous dancing nanas in this thread. I feel the urge to go old school.

CAN I GET A HELL YEAH

Tomorrow's my final math bagrut. I don't really do that well right now, but we have this "shield" number that's bassically our all year grades, that's worth 50% of the final grade.
Anyway, that's about 92 I think, so I know my math, but the problems in this book are extremly hard.
Either way it goes, I have a second test anyway, and it's the better of the two that counts.

Damn, I couldn't explain stuff in english if my life depended on it. And I'm supposed to be the best in my class.
