My take on the Somewhere in Time hype:
...I think speculation about Somewhere in Time time being somewhat central to next tour are very far-fetched, but as I've often expressed, Stranger in a Strange Land truly is somewhat potential cut to be "dusted-off" in the near future. Wasted Years might very well make it's return as well. That would be rather cool SiT coverage! In that sense, I slightly disagree with
@Kalata above about ATG (my bet for it in 2023 is "no") having slightly better chance to appear than Stranger in a Strange Land. Who knows!
Heaven Can Wait isn't exactly on the top of my wishlist and if they keep ME-TBOS-LOTB tour level theatrics/props, I doubt the crew would want any extra hassle with getting fans through backstage and such.
Of course no-one has said that Heaven Can Wait couldn't be played without the
fans-on-stage feature, but I don't think it's that exciting song to begin with. Good one, but given it's runtime and all, I'd very much welcome something else instead. Not complaining if they'll end up playing it, but I remain doubtful.
So, do
I realistically expect Somewhere in Time getting some setlist coverage over the upcoming tour(s)?
YES - it's actually rather plausible scenario.
Do
I believe that 2023 will see a Senjutsu+Somewhere in Time tour?
NO.
Do
I think it's possible for Somewhere in Time Eddie and/or certain callbacks to be somehow featured in the stage show and the marketing of the next tour (or the one after it)? Again,
plausible scenario. SiT Eddie and the visual callbacks to that era have been featured in Maiden stage sets and merch for a long time - sometimes more, sometimes less upfront.
