I was thinking just the same. He' s in top form. Obviously he was right....I think I'll have to eat my words about Bruce's voice - sounds damn good, especially given it's the the last song
Is it just me or did Bruce’s voice fail him in 3:35 and Adrian laughs about it in the background?
Pff, you're the one who called H lazy for literally no good reason. Sounds better than the album version to me.
It was only the very end bit of the solo, wasn't it?
That's what the rest of the forum did when you made that first comment. Imagine even thinking that about Lord H!
No point in asking Knicks that; he doesn't even know when the solo started...It was only the very end bit of the solo, wasn't it?
Just before Dave's back to back solos? That's what the rest of the forum did when you made that first comment. Imagine even thinking that about Lord H.

Haha. To be fair that song is quite hard to sing. Check out the version from Download 2007 where he sounds horrible compared to this. I am so impressed by Bruce's performance in Tallinn. He seems to be hitting the highest notes with more ease than he has in a long time.Is it just me or did Bruce’s voice fail him in 3:35 and Adrian laughs about it in the background?
Trying to find common ground there? Don't try & build bridges here, Brigs.Just before Dave's back to back solos?

Oh yes, I totally agree, he sounds immense, he sounded better on Aces High than on many shows from the SBIT tour. Just thought it was a little funny.Haha. To be fair that song is quite hard to sing. Bruce is a professional, he makes it look like he was getting the crowd to sing during the second line.Is it just me or did Bruce’s voice fail him in 3:35 and Adrian laughs about it in the background?
I think it's more exhausting for him because he's cut other vocal parts short as well. Vocally, Bruce does have a few small shortcomings here and there, but he still sounds so amazing at least 95% of the time that it's not even a problem in the least and doesn't seem to bother anyone. What seems different to me in FtGGoG is the "please tell me what life is" parts: Bruce kept the "is" parts much longer in the album recording, whereas he is too quick to pass them in live performance (the same he did in the AMOLAD tour). Maybe it is more exhaustive the other way, or maybe Bruce likes it this way.
If he can do Aces High, that motherfucker can do anything.OK, another song I would LOVE to see live again would be Wasting Love, but that might be a vocal challenge for Bruce these days.
DoD is the worst recording of Maiden history. It is tonally so wrong that even its DVD version, in which the loudness war is not an issue, does not save it.Yeah, Dance of Death sounds quite bad. The Final Frontier is also lifeless. Brave New World and AMOLAD are good.
