So can I - one thing that really comes across about Janick is that he does seem to enjoy walking! And Dave already informed us (circa DoD) that "He’ll go out for 20 mile walks and try to hit every bar on the way back!"

But I think that's probably why he's so fit - he's just never slowed down. A lesson for the rest of us!

They should make that a new feature in the FC magazine. "Janick's Adventures".....Janick diary wise telling and showing what things he's been out seeing and exploring lately :p

No shame in getting someone in to help, just because Bruce didn't - even Ian Gillan needed some help with his autobiography :).

Guys, Bruce had books out decades ago. Regardless of the content, I even heard they weren't bad at all, just not something special, he's a writer and a novelist.

Yes we know but they were still basically something he scribbled for fun. The point is, Bruce just seems to have a knack for it - not everyone does. He is able to get his thoughts coherent and in the right order while they are still in his head, and his being able to write his autobiography in one draft and without help is the result of this ability rather than years of writing experience. If he had needed help to get it into a readable format, as Ian Gillan apparently did, would it have been any less worthwhile to read it?

Which is mirrored in the lyrics he writes. Steve's autobiography in this regard could be interesting and not as time-consuming to read:

"And then we went on tour
And then into the studio
And then we went on tour
And then into the studio...
Wo-oh-oh
Wo-oh-oh-oh-oh"
;)

Unless he was absolutely horrible at writing I don't think it would matter much. The FC magazine frequently has guest writers from all over the music world/businesses involved with Maiden, there's also frequent fan entries. The FC magazine is not exactly the place for award winning literature. The important part would be the story he has to tell and a lot of good pictures from his sightseeing around the world :D

Bruce has a way with words. The others might need help. Nicko is entertaining, though.
While looking -in vain- for a complete compilation of the Listen With Nicko recordings on YouTube to illustrate your post- I have found a new opportunity to be entertained by him: Part XI! (I didn't know it existed) Apparently, it has only been available on the US promo CD of NPFTD.

Actually we do know they can all write short-form pieces because they all wrote those little character studies of each other on the old official website.

I hope they all write their autobiographies one day, and I shall read each and every one of them (though with a certain amount of trepidation in the case of Nicko ...)

Ah yes. Listen with Nicko. I remember listening to them as 13-14 year old. Probably only understanding 40% of what was said (as a non native English speaker) :D But it was cool, because hey, it was Nicko!
