You get a bus pass in the UK (& a tube pass if you live in London) when you're 60; the old female retirement age, whether you're male or female. So, he's entitled to a bus pass; although you're right in saying he's not picking up his state pension yet.He is not at the pension age yet in England I believe or maybe I'm wrong!
