In the 90's, The Trooper was almost at the end of the all setlsits - on The X Factour and Virtual XI tour I think, Maiden closed with the song

The Trooper for most of The X Factour (they added Running Free just after The Trooper for the later shows in 1996) while Sanctuary was the closer for The Virtual XI Tour. The Trooper was played second to last in 1998

Well, there are some photos of them in the bus, but I don't know, the travel times are short I think so surely they travelled there

In the UK I could see it, just because getting to an airport and getting up in the air probably takes the same period of time as driving.

You get a bus pass in the UK (& a tube pass if you live in London) when you're 60; the old female retirement age, whether you're male or female. So, he's entitled to a bus pass; although you're right in saying he's not picking up his state pension yet.

He might have defaulted on National Insurance credits if all his money was going abroad, too, so that would count against a state pension.

So can I - one thing that really comes across about Janick is that he does seem to enjoy walking! And Dave already informed us (circa DoD) that "He’ll go out for 20 mile walks and try to hit every bar on the way back!"

But I think that's probably why he's so fit - he's just never slowed down. A lesson for the rest of us!
