I also hope they don't - that would be the easiest way for the band ! - Prowler would be superb at the start or at the end of the concert - also, RTTH, HBTN(I hope to return) and The Trooper o_O would serve well as the closers !
 
Running Free or Sanctuary are likely as closers. Running Free is good when Bruce does a good job. Ullevi 2005 comes to mind, that version is fucking intense. Pretty much every version from 2010 to 2013 was shit. Very uninspired. Sanctuary was great in 2014 IMO, I wouldn't mind that one. Unless they surprise us again and end the show with something they haven't played in the encore before.

The Trooper as mentioned above could be cool. Maybe even 2 Minutes to Midnight or The Evil That Men Do.

In the 90's, The Trooper was almost at the end of the all setlsits - on The X Factour and Virtual XI tour I think, Maiden closed with the song ! Nowadays, the song si played usually at the start of the set - the 4th or 5th song ! But it would be cool.

They also can end with BYD... TTS :) - it would be so strange, isn't it ? - but, for the audience - so cool !!!

It seems highly unlikely for 2018 - Europe is really quite small, and trucking around the stage set is a lot cheaper than flying it around.

I know the plane is pretty big but the biggest production they put in this recent times was maiden England and they didn't use the Ed force one for what I remember. I like most TBOS tour but maiden England was pretty impressive as well

Guess you´re right, a bit sad though. Ive grown very fond of Ed Force One, even more since reading Bruces biography.

They were pretty similar in scope and production size, I thought.

I'd rather the band not add unnecessarily to ticket prices ;)
 
I thought the whole point of using a 747 as opposed to the 757 was so that they could fit the entire stage set without any compromises. At this point the choice of using Ed Force One or not probably has more to do with, as LC said, transportation expenses.

That, and I suspect there's some "Bruce wanted to fly a 747" in there as well, though that's not the official reason of course!
 
Maybe in Europe they use the bus but in 2019, when they come to north and South America, the Ed force one will eventually appear. When they came to Mexico in maiden England tour i don't remember the Ed force one being used
