Legacy of the Beast 2018 Tour

I'd welcome FOTD being replaced by Hallowed, Phantom, TNOTB, Blood Brothers or whatever.

But we all know that it's not going to happen.

The two in bold were in the set the two previous years, so they won't replace anything. It's time to ditch 'Fear of the Dark', 'Iron Maiden', 'The Number of the Beast' and 'Blood Brothers'. Bring 'Run to the Hills' and 'Hallowed be thy Name' back.

Just reading all the posts about Alexander the Great and got me thinking. Bruce mentioned wanting the internet to go into meltdown talking of the Setlist. Can you imagine if after all these years the did actually play Alexander the Great but only on the 1st gig of the tour and decided to drop it straight after. That would definitely send the hardcore maiden fans into a frenzy online.

well, they did it to Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner. They loved it in rehearsals but after doing it live once, they weren't feeling it with the set and dropped it for eternity. The info I saw about Rod's comments said it would be an 80s tour with a few tracks from more recent albums.... Kinda disappointed and rather confused by this. I'll wait till Estonia next month and see the set list. Sadly, I know it will change in 2019 when they throw USA dates in

Aces High doesn't work like that. He could get away on RTTH this way, though.

Wait, this is 2013, isn't it? I would expect that Aces High today would sound more like Knebworth 2014. Too slow and with Bruce strugling. But even here after the key change in the chorus, Bruce is really strugling with "Fly To Live"...

Really, I'd prefer to never hear Aces High again than hear it being played to slow/sluggish or Bruce killing his voice just to come through it.

I think "Aces High" could only work as an opener nowadays, when Bruce's voice is not tired. No encores, we've already seen in the Maiden England tour that it doesn't work in that position.
