I've always wondered why Mick Wall says that Powerslave is filled with ''less-than-average'' tracks. I think it's one of the more consistent releases from Maiden.

The Duellists.  ;)  Me too.

We lost 22 and Boots.  Oh well, I never expected them to survive.  Though I hoped at least one of these would make it to this round.

Don't get me wrong, those songs are brilliant, but I have songs to protect. I happen to like Losfer Words and Still Life and that lot a lot more than Beast and Trooper. . .

[Edit] How did Flash of the Blade accumulate so many votes ? It's one of the best on Powerslave. . .

Now this starts to get really, really hard. I don't think Powerslave has loads of fillers, I think the four songs in the middle are great - but the two first and two last are so classic that they define the word.

Still, the songs that remain from the first 4 albums are all great as well. I vote To Tame A Land, Losfer Words and Back In The Village.
