I would like The Final Frontier (song) more if it was a separate track from Satellite 15. As it is, I almost always skip the Satellite intro.

Evil
BNW
Satellite
El Dorado
Coming Home

They get promoted when only two from an album remain. So we just have to eliminate Wicker Man, then Navigator and Brave get promoted :D

In chronological order of promotion:

Remember Tomorrow
Phantom of the Opera

Murders in the Rue Morgue
Killers

Children of the Damned
Hallowed Be Thy Name

Revelations
The Trooper

Run Silent Run Deep
Mother Russia

Afraid to Shoot Strangers
Fear of the Dark

Sign of the Cross
The Unbeliever

Futureal
The Clansman

Caught Somewhere in Time
Alexander the Great

Dance of Death
Paschendale

Powerslave
Rime of the Ancient Mariner

You're welcome. @Deus_Adrian

Can I ask a silly question? Why do some many of you hate El Dorado?

It is one of my top 5 post-reunion songs because of the speed, snarl, lack of repetitiveness. The opening riff (yes, derivative of Barracuda by Heart) is awesome and the guitar that accompanies each verse reminds me of an engine revving up. The song is nearly 7 minutes long but feels more like 5. The lyrics are solid and each guitarist has a nice quick solo. Simply stated, it's an engaging song that was a welcome bit of excitement coming after the dense plod of A Matter of Life and Death.

If you ask me, it's the lyrics and vocal melodies. They just don't do a damn thing for me. I don't dislike the song, I just find it to be overall average. Of what's left from TFF, it's one of the two weakest tracks. I far prefer everything on AMOLAD.

Now I appreciate it more than when it came out. Haven't touched it yet.

The good thing about the song is that it doesn't have flaws as most others from this album. It doesn't stand out, but it doesn't irritate either. Hardly at least. Perhaps, a third solo was unnecessary, but for the rest I hardly can find anything wrong about it.

It's not hate as such in my case, but I find it a bit too brassy. It's the in-yer-face hook type single preceding an album, which isn't in the same vein as the rest of album. Not unlike Speed of Light, really. It's almost as if they feel compelled to throw something like this into an album to drum up interest in advance. It works well on album trailers and is a lot more radio friendly than other songs.

It works live very well. Not a single boring moment, as opposed to Talisman and When the Wild Wind Blows.

Out here, shorter songs are easier targets it seems. Unless they are called Isle of Avalon. :nuts2:

I'm not a fan of 'When the Wild Wind Blows', I've always found it an odd song, but I love 'The Talisman' - despite the old man chorus.
