Iron Maiden Survivor 2013: Results Thread - Hallowed reclaims the throne!

I've been caught out by polls finishing early a couple of times. Nothing to do with tactical voting, I just wanted to spend more time listening to the options before voting. The indication of the closing date is useful, but is it not possible to just schedule the poll to close at the actual time you want it to end? Or are there only limited options available for setting the time period?
Well the end time is going in the title from now on. If people think the rounds are too short because they want more time to listen, we can change the round lengths.

It's nothing personal, Mosh, I hope you understrand that. I just think it's unfair. So it was perfectly fine for people to take back the votes they already cast but it's impossible to add one to a poll that was open.

I understand that, and I'm fixing the title so that this doesn't happen again. And after the discussion in the studio album survivor, I think I'm going to revoke the rule that lets people take back votes as well.

The time lengths are fine, I just got caught out because I thought I had more time. The dates in the title help. :)

Sorry Mosh, I think it was not correct either. I been noticing lately that you've been very eager to rush matters, e.g. in other polls you're adding 2 albums in round, giving people hardly time to listen. This is not handy but not exactly wrong either. But now were getting a bit too eager.
Sounds like somebody is having a whinge because their tactical voting didn't work out for them.
This anti-tactical voting banter is getting a bit ridiculous. Every vote is tactical in a way, but some just do it a bit different than others.

The essence of this problem is that someone wanted to wait with voting, and was still able to influence matters in a late phase. Before that vote happened a song that could be saved was eliminated and a new round was started. Forgive me for never noticing this before. I never thought that such an idea existed, let alone was carried out!

Sorry for being late on this, but reading some reactions out here certainly tempted me to give my 2 cents, even though it's all ok now.

And it's good that you're willing to change these matters, Mosh. Thanks for that.

How is it too eager if I have been updating the game at the same rate since the start? As I mentioned before, this update came a few hours late, even.

No despising here, but I feel obliged to vote for *something* in this round. There's a lot I like up at the moment.
