I have the 1st edition of this book with the embossed signatures on the front (from the fan club back in the 80s) and it's in way better condition than this one.

Still a great share though mate

I cannot understand one thing - why Maiden have to hiding that they are in Paris and working on a new album...

Tell the fans that you are working on it, so we can be full of joy.

The other bands do not do that.

Put it this way, Maiden go quiet for a week or two, and we get about 50 pages of speculation on here. They don't have to lift a finger to get the hype building.

My biggest complaints are songs like the Longest Day where I feel like there is a bit of cut and paste to fit a template feel to the writing. Dream of Mirrors is another one.

Those two songs are near my favourites from those two albums. Great, great songs.
