I could totally see Nile doing this.

This song must be made. I'm sure it will be quite moo-ving!
As the sun breaks above the ground
An old cow stands on the hill
As the ground warms to the Egyptian light
He chews cud as he stands still

His eyes are so glazed
See the blankness in his gaze

Moo all your days like you're cattle
Like you're Cattle Of Ra
Drop your pies like you're cattle
Of the god of the sun (yeah!)

From Wikipedia:
" All forms of life were believed to have been created by Ra, who called each of them into existence by speaking their secret names. Alternatively man was created from Ra's tears and sweat, hence the Egyptians call themselves the "Cattle of Ra". :p

Besides, if we're honest, it would only be TNOTB they'd sequelize.
Come on, there are great options!

Iron Maiden 2: Electric Boogaloo
Resurrectors
Even More Numbers Of The Beast
Pieces Of Mind
Powermaster
A Very Specific Place In Time
Eighth Son Of An Eighth Son
At Least One Prayer For The Dying
Nonchalance Toward The Dark
The Y Factor
Virtual XII
Cowardly Old World
Prance Of Death
Even More Matters Of Life And Death
Frontier Emeritus
The Book Of Souls II: Supernatural Treasure

I'm not saying that TNOTB would be the best album to sequelize, I'm saying it's the most likely one. It's their most famous album, the one that brought them to the forefront of metal, and widely considered one of the Top 3 best in the genre. They've reused the name for various tours (A Matter of the Beast, Legacy of the Beast, etc), and it would be the most commercially successful one for them if indeed they were to do such a thing.

Consider how Helloween rode off of the success of the first two Keeper albums with Keeper of the Seven Keys: The Legacy. If Maiden were to make a sequel to an album, I think the most logical assumption is that The Number of the Beast will be receiving that sequel.

Maybe they should just write sequels to a bunch of songs, and then cram 'em all on the same album:
  1. 2 Minutes 2 Midnight
  2. 2 Tame a Land
  3. Remember 2morrow
  4. Run 2 The Hills
  5. The Evil That Men 2
  6. Bring Your Daughter 2 The Slaughter
  7. Don't Look 2 The Eyes of a Stranger
  8. From Here 2 Eternity
  9. Hooks In 2
  10. Public Enema Number 2
Job done!

Nah, the titles sound too "positive" for Nile - they'd probably do something like this instead:

1. Road to Destruction 4:42
2. Creatures of Fire and Pestilence 6:41
3. Of Serpents and Slaves 6:22
4. Weighing of the Heretic Heart 4:36
5. Scarab (instrumental) 2:51
6. Shadow of the Blackened Catacombs 11:33

7. On the Wings of Burning Spirits 5:27
8. Cattle of Ra 4:58 (now, I honestly won't be surprised if they did this!)
9. Eternal Desert at Night 5:20
10. The Screaming Sky 6:28
11.Whispering Reeds (instrumental) 3:08
12. Secrets of the Gate of Sethu 13:29

Long titles, too :D
