Perhaps BALZE!!11 was spotted?
I think Blaze's complexion is a first for Maidenfans discussions.
Judging by all of the older pictures I've seen, he wasn't.
Not a strong rumor at all. This was just posted on the FC forum by some guy who has no credible evidence and has made shit up in the past.Next strong rumour's coming: Iron Maiden's recording brand new studio album in Paris now. Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain and Janick Gers had been meeting with French fans at Champs Elysees and Dave Murray has been caught talking with his technician at the local subway station.

Plus, why are there no pictures of these meetings with fans surfacing on social media? On Facebook, someone posted a picture of their kid with Nicko at Rock n Roll Ribs on January 10th. How is he in Paris and Florida at the same time?
Sssssshhhhh.....its better than declining sales or setlist bullshitNot a strong rumor at all. This was just posted on the FC forum by some guy who has no credible evidence and has made shit up in the past.

A guy in a shop who once sold a sixer to a roadie who hangs out a lot with a bus driver who occasionally sees Janick has 100% confirmed that Maiden will become a studio only singles band in 2020. Expect the first song to drop January 2020 and then a new single every 4-6 months until retirement.
Would kill for Maiden to release an actual single with b-sides.
It makes sense though. With Iron Maiden’s declining ticket sales it might make sense for them to become a studio only band at this point.
They could do what other bands do and record a cover song or two and just drop them as promos outside of the usual album cycle on YouTube. The issue is the last time they recorded covers was in 2006 and they never got around to releasing two of the remaining ones from those sessions so it's kind of pointless to even wish for.Unfortunately the internet has made physical singles with b-sides pointless. Why release a separate product with special songs when 80% of people are just going to stream? The majority of music consumers see no difference in what "album" or "single" release a song comes from, they just press play on the Most Recent or Top Tracks list.
