Iron Maiden songs that you flat out dislike?

Fear of the Dark would be one of the best albums in Maiden discography if there'd be just 8 songs on it:

1. Be Quick Or Be Dead
2. Afraid to Shoot Strangers
3. Fear is the Key
4. Childhood''s End
5. Wasting Love
6. The Fugitive ( yes, I like tdis song )
7. Judas Be my Guide
8. Fear of the Dark

I totally agree. Fear Is The Key is excellent IMO. Sound like Bruce's tribute to Ian Gillan.

Prodigal Son for sure

There are many I flat out dislike, so let's play Who's to blame:

Heaven Can Wait (the only song from the 80's - I place the blame on 'Arry and his silly dreams)
Hooks in You (I blame Bruce for his poor Paul imitation, should have left it on the solo record)
From Here to Eternity (I blame 'Arry and Bruce for blatant and poor AC/DC theft)
Weekend Warrior (fuckin Gers, who let him get ideas? Whoever did is to blame on much on this here list)
Man on the Edge (I blame Balze and Martin Birch for retiring - last part is a poor lie as I cannot blame Martin for anything)
I Live My Way (Underrated gem, ah no - I blame @Kalata)
The Angelo and the Gambler (I blame the fuckin' brain damage in Percy's brain from dunking heads with the thick head McBrain)
Look to the Eyes of a Stranger (I blame Queensryche)
Blood Brothers (I blame metal heads worldwid, bro)
The Mercenary (Gers again - of course it's not a one-off)
The Nomad (I blame bad ripoff and Dave for giving in)
Wildest Dreams (I blame bad writing and shit ideas for songs)
No More Lies (see above and add a dose of Dickinson)
Gates of Tomorrow (see above and add H)
Face in the Band (See above and add Nicko)
Age of Innocence (see above and ad Kevin Shirley)
New Frontier (I blame the thickhead alone)
Journeyman (I blame the acoustic guitar)
Different World (I blame Wildest Dreams and bad writing)
The Pilgrim (Gers is on fire as in very mild fire, which I blame)
Out of the Shadows (I blame no one, but the little infant this is about)
For the Greater Good of God (I blame myself for trying to like it, good grief)
Final Frontier (I blame Wildest Dreams and Different Wildest World)
El Dorado (lyrics are alright, so I blame the music)
Mother of Mercy (I blame AMOLAD)
Coming Home (I blame The Scorpions)
The Alchemist (I blame writer's blocks)
Isle of Avalon (tepid prog slog, so I blame Genesis)
Starblind (nice words, I blame poetry)
Man Who Would Be Ling (I blame Davey)
When the Wild Wind Blows (Can you blame the wind?)
Speed of Light (I blame old age)
Great Unknown (see above, and add boredom)
The Red and the Black (tepid prog hog, so I blame Yes)
When the Rice Runs Deep (I blame Shirley)
Shadows of the Valley (see above and ad H)
Man of Sorrow (I blame old age and Davey and Janick maybe)
Empire of the Clouds (I blame Bruce and kiddie pianos)

B-sides some other time.

Bring your daughter. Hooks in you. Weekend warrior, If eternity should fail, the red and the black. These are the only “always skip” songs.
Lately I’ve been skipping the legacy and lord of light also. ...
Of course even these have good moments....

Alright @Diesel 11, I’ll let you take this one...

@John Silver who is to blame for "The Alchemist"?

I can't think of any Maiden songs that I flat out dislike. There are plenty that I don't find very interesting, I'm not sure if they count. I'll say "Mother of Mercy" because it's the first thing that came to mind.

Oh yes, matey I've added a few thoughts and blame here and there and everywhere.

So all this about Bruce not liking CSiT is just people people imagining it. No actual evidence presented. And based on his incredible vocal performance on the 2016 tour, there's no reason to think Bruce "can't sing CSiT". Utter nonsense. But this is a fan site, so it's 99% nonsense. :)

there are interviews from 1986 and 1987 with Bruce specifically stating CSIT is one of his favorites to sing along with stranger in a strange land.....

I think...

1. the band wasn't happy with the live sound
2. Bruce probably would tire out quick doing that kind of song every show

You just listed 1/4 of Maiden’s songs. Please keep in mind that this is not the blasphemy thread.

You have my whole Top 5 of the two latest albums on your list. Yes, I know I have a strange taste, and that these songs are on a lot of people's dislike lists!

Oops, this is a dislike thread, and I listed the songs I flat out like. Sorry! ;)
