Iron Maiden News, Links, and Interviews

Were the message from Dennis Stratton and the picture of a fan with Janick in Paris posted there? :p

If they were (I do not have the time to review the thread), then @Forostar is to blame for not paying enough attention to the privileged information from the official Fan Club forum members. If they weren't, well, we should have updated the corresponding thread with all the relevant rumours to keep everyone up to speed!
I think so... it's exhausting trying to keep up between what I share here vs. at the IMFC! :p

No clue what you mean but I do not visit that forum often.

@Lego and yours truly are active there and tend to post here any information we find at the official forum. It seems that this time we forgot to post some of that information (Dennis Stratton’s post and the picture of Janice with a fan in Paris). :)
Both were posted here, don't you worry.

Have both Bruce Samson albums, they aren't great but there's a lot worse out there. Riding with the Angels. Vice Versa and Take it like a Man are memorable enough that I can reminisce about them despite not having listened to either album in a very long time.

I gave Shock Tactics a listen this morning on the way to work, I got as far bright lights before I got to work.

It's hard going, the material is way beneath Bruce, and he just sounds so awkward singing that sleazy guff. I hope he didn't write those words. There as bad as anything in Charlotte or Prowler.

Samson sucks. There's mid 70s metal that's a lot more better than that. Around the net people say Maiden this Maiden that, a lot more NWOBHM should've succeeded, it's luck, yada yada. Well how about no.

I really like Live at Reading album, great performance and there's a video of that show on youtube. There's a moment when Bruce is annoyed by someone. It's cool to see how young were the musicians at that time just with hungry for success and just for the fact of enjoy and play music or make a living. Around 23 years old … damn!

In which wise place this was?
17, here and here:
From the official FC Forum, a fan met Yanick in Paris yesterday.

About the only question that remains is who is this mysterious "Yanick" figure and how does he relate to Iron Maiden recording in Paris?

Losfer Words was in the set until the North American tour (all NA tours in the 80s had shorter sets). Back in the Village would’ve been the 6th Powerslave song and the band typically plays 6 new songs.
