Where ? I just watched the cover and I didn't notice any xenomorph on it...[...] there is a very small Xenomorph on Number of the Beast cover. Right below part.
There is a Reddit topic about this and few articles which I can’t find now but I found this picture:Where ? I just watched the cover and I didn't notice any xenomorph on it...
As I've said before, I'm happy with him changing the fills and adapting any parts he needs to. CSIT convinced me that I far prefer a different rhythm or groove that keeps the same tempo, rather than slowing down the entire song by a few bpm, which saps the song of its energy.New interview with Nicko
I haven't watch the whole thing, but I did watch where Nicko said that he's still not back to where he wants to be, he can't do a 16th note roll going into 32nd note rolls anymore. He can play 8th notes a do doubles. He has to adapt his fills now, he can't play the Trooper's fill because of the speed, he can do it slowly. As long as he keeps the groove and the band is very supportive. He is playing every day and is in his peak now (not sure he said that). He tries the fills with his solo band, but they don't work, so he's gone back to what he was playing with Maiden last year, which was playing straighter on those kind of fills. He is getting the triplets again and a couple of hi-hats for FOTD. It's all about the tempo of the songs, when they're fast he struggles, when they're slower he can do it.
Yeah, bigger and theatrical shows tend to have rigid and intricate lighting routines. Makes sense for them to figure out one set and then keep to it. I like that approach. He also said that Maiden don't rotate songs because of how the lights are programmed (?) and joked about BYD... TTS.
