Michael Amott went on and joined Carcass (later he formed Arch Enemy), while Matti Kärki, David Blomqvist and Fred Estby went onto reform Dismember
Both are far more extreme metal but they have cited Iron Maiden as influence. Carcass played on the 2008 Somewhere Back In Time Tour fourth leg as support band.
