Yeah it fuckin' does dude. Such a pummeling record drum-wise. BNW is mostly compiled of stock bits from the Blaze era. It sounds great, don't get me wrong, but it's not one of Nicko's most stand-out performances whereas Ingraham isn't keeping anything back.but does CW have bloody great drum work?
...but it does have the amazing chemistry of Dickinson / Z / Smith / Casillas / Ingraham, which for my money is better than any chemistry Maiden ever had. Everything sounds meticulous, like they know exactly what they want to do. AoB was a lot of fun, and now they've honed in a razor-sharp vision of metallic perfection that makes for the most incredible hour in music history. It's the fucking best album ever bro bruh breh brie labrie aww fuck it's dream theatER againand it does not have the Maiden reunion chemistry BNW is positively vibrating of.
Maiden and Slayer.
