Soundgarden stops a very respectable run from Atlantean Kodex, who seem to have won some converts with this album. They're still alive in the Match 12 stream.
Tool quickly knocks this Anthrax album off. They'll be back in Match 30.
This time, Tool loses to Rush. Tool is obviously doing OK otherwise.

This Is Spinal Tap is both a hilarious send-up of early heavy metal and a surprisingly strong collection of songs in its own right. “Stonehenge” is an all-time classic that has legitimate musical value (just listen to that final transition from the solo / interlude back into the intro section!), and the rest of the album is no shit sandwich either. “Tonight I’m Gonna Rock You Tonight” made it into Guitar Hero, “Gimme Some Money” made enough impact to be used non-ironically in financial company ads years later, and the album cover was an obvious inspiration for Metallica’s black album cover. Even the “early years” tracks like “Cups And Cakes” and “(Listen To The) Flower People” are well constructed.

The original versions are the only way to go here — the re-recordings from Back From The Dead are inferior.
