Careful now..... I nominated part 2 (the next album; same sort of cover / better content)Why is this Virgin Steele album still in the game? GTFO. One look at the cover art is enough to know it sucks.

I dunno guys, Powerwolf sounds pretty unique to me.
I can see both sides of this. The core of the music is high-octane, well executed classic melodic metal. That part is familiar. Then you add the pipe organ and the variably operatic baritone singing and it gives it a more unique feel. The lyrical shtick was also pretty unique until werewolf metal became its own microgenre. But bottom line, you’re never going to confuse a Powerwolf song with a song by any other band, and that means the sound is unique enough.I dunno guys, Powerwolf sounds pretty unique to me.
What do you have against Satan?what's not to like. Well, the "Satan, Satan" chant
Well, nothing against Satan, just that the chanting sounded a bit stupid. What do you have against Satan?
If it makes you feel better, I intend to vote for Lupus Dei. I wouldn't vote for it against Rising, but that's not showing up for a loooooooooooooooooooooong time.I’m still beside myself at the number of people picking the Rainbow album over this one. Either people aren’t actually listening with an open mind, or the elements of the music that we appreciate the most are fundamentally different. To me, Lupus Dei is a killer metal album, and Rainbow is just a solid metal-adjacent album.
What for? I'm not playing on that albumSorry, @Magnus
(that goes for some other members as well, you know who you are)
I guess I'm providing silly, uninformed comments on areas I'm not familiar with. Don't know what it's bringing to the game. Normally I tend not to advertise my ignorance on something, just be quiet so others may think I'm smarter than I actually am. On this Cup I've taken another approach, and I'm sometimes embarrassed of my input. On the contrary, thank you Jer for bothering to listen to albums that you know are not exactly your cup of tea and providing thoughtful comments on them (that goes for some other members as well, you know who you are) - that's the whole point of this game, isn't it?
